I’m curious why you think it’s referencing this particular event? What makes it this event and not any other similar event, or just a made up one?
I’m not saying you’re wrong. I’m just curious if there’s something I’m missing.

The way this has been done by states already is passing amendments that require them to vote yes when it gets enough votes. This means it’s only a few new states that need to pass a law for this to actually happen. Previous states can’t back out.

It’s evidence of torture, whether it happened or not. Just like finding a body with a bullet through the back of the head is evidence of murder. It’s not evidence of alleged murder. It could still lead to the wrong conclusion, but that’s what the evidence points towards.

Honestly, I disagree. A stance I hold is that voters should have to see the horrors of war. You shouldn’t be allowed to elect someone who may send people off to die brutally without knowing what that looks like. By this, I don’t mean watching Band of Brothers or something. I mean actual footage of people being injured or dying in modern combat. You’re choosing that for other people, so you should have to know what it actually is.

For me personally, I don’t like it. However, I do still have a strong opinion on it. I think it’s a fantastic flavor combination! It’s a nice combination of salty, sweet, and savory. If a professional chef were making a pizza, and they had never heard of one before, something like the Hawaiian pizza is what I’d expect them to make. I don’t really like pineapple though, so it’s not for me.

I would love to see it, but I’d rather be rid of him. Hoping for the ideal outcome, which is unlikely, and not acting on something that’s still good is a bad idea.

Oh, good. I was thinking this was some generated bullshit.
You are overestimating how many people find it simple to find an executable online and run it.
I think you missed the point. Finding an executable and running it is harder than installing Linux, yet every Windows user does it. If they’re capable of using Windows then they’re also capable of installing Linux.
Also our ability to run long distances. I have no idea on the speed of a T-Rex, but it may be possible to have it chase you long enough to wear it out.
I believe last time I used it WSL only handles a terminal, but I feel like I recall seeing something about it being able to handle GUI applications now. I would suspect it can’t run games though. The calls that are needed to make games possible are probably off-limits to WSL.
I don’t know when the last time you installed Linux was, or what distros you’ve used, but it’s beyond trivial now usually. Finding an executable online and running that, as Windows users have to do, is often more difficult than installing Linux. There is almost no user who couldn’t install Linux today, but there are many who will never try.

I wouldn’t say it’s trivial. It’s just one more indication of all the rot. There is no enforcement of the laws against them, only the poor.

I agree mostly, but I think the way this could be made to work is made on-demand, maybe without a physical disk. Basically just have a bunch of empty boxes and print the cover when someone orders a case. I guess it probably wouldn’t be too hard to print the disk on-demand either, but it’d be easier not to.
Still, regardless of how it’s done, I won’t be purchasing it. I don’t want to store a bunch of cases. It was cool back in the day, but it was also a pain in the ass. It was just a necessity. Now it isn’t. They’d literally just be clutter.

I wouldn’t mind manuals coming back, digitally or physically, but honestly I have no desire for boxes. It’s literally just taking up space. I’d rather have game artwork or something. I mostly like what GoG does for game preservation, but I don’t think this is going to go that well. I guess if they’re manufactured on-demand then it doesn’t really cost them anything though, so it’s nice to offer.

Lots of ppl…
It’s two people, and they share something in common. Only a specific type of person would randomly bring that up to torpedo support for this.

You said it’s a bad look.

I think it’d be great if we lived in a world where violence wasn’t required, and we could, but we don’t. Ideally an actual just justice system would handle things so individuals don’t need to use violence, but it isn’t just.

If they’re good at collecting and analyzing the data, you stopping there for long enough to do this might be enough. Also, assume there are cameras, on the vehicle and the area nearby.

For your example, I think you’ve got things wrong. Probably a lot of those people are just being paid to work, not per sale. You’re wasting the company’s time, but probably not the employee’s. You’re also wasting your own time.
Ah, I somehow missed that. Lol. Thanks!
