Troll.

We sure are, but because we’re tired we should be DOWNvoting the pointlessly negative comments. It’s difficult enough to retain sanity in this political environment without our fellow lefties deliberately making us feel worse.

Every stage of life represented in this comic is better than the stages in my life. Things that are unintentionally depressing are the worst.

Why do people keep upvoting this obnoxious and pointless negativity?

Alex was also killed by Latino men.

Holy fuck. Who cares? This idiot said something stupid? Again? No fucking way.

How is this an article? Why does PC Gamer think every single thing this idiot tweets needs an “article” written about it?

Yes! That was the best news I’ve seen in a while and a pleasant surprise : )

I do appreciate your attitude, despite the wincing 😉

I’m not sure how to cut out bad news without cutting out all news completely.

Nothing you just named can come anywhere near climate change in terms of severity. Humanity (and the majority of complex organisms) won’t survive climate change, but the planet will. In a million years it will be like we were never here, and life can start over. That’s the kind of pragmatic optimism that I find comforting.

Also bad news about the nature… I winced when I saw this comment because it’s so naive, but this thread isn’t the place for me to mention the Brazilian election, or how BC is about to be clear cut, or…

I better go.

Good call adding the information that Mr Joshua doesn’t sign his work. It’s abnormal that he doesn’t.

His work is one of the main things I miss about Bluesky.
