You might want to look up the definition of edit. The parts I omitted were irrelevant.

I’m not sure what about it is so hard to understand. The original discussion was about the effects of the conviction.

You jumped in with statistics about conviction rates that didn’t apply to the discussion. The conviction rates being low are irrelevant to how people are affected post sentence and whether the ultra-wealthy are held accountable.

Conviction rates are low because the burden of evidence is high (which I already stated and you ignored). But even when there’s mountains of evidence, the ultra-wealthy aren’t held accountable.

Now fuck off and stop replying 5 times to every comment.

I know basic math might be hard for some, but 10% and 0% are different numbers. 10% is more than 0%.

The difference is relevant when discussing whether one group is prosecuted while another isn’t.

I don’t disagree that the number of convictions is abysmally low. It’s just not relevant to the original discussion.

And then we moved on to whether it is just Epstein class rapists that escape punishment for rape.

No, you just started talking about low conviction rates as if it’s relevant to the main topic of how the conviction affect the convicted.

You brought up how being convicted of rape will make the rapists unemployable.

So I brought statistics about how low the conviction rates are for rapists.

Low conviction rates have absolutely no bearing on whether a convicted rapist is employable.

Because the discussion is how the conviction affects those 8% of people. Not that only 8% of people are convicted.

It also has no bearing on the topic of whether the ultra wealthy get away with it more than the working class, unless you provide the stats for the ultra wealthy.

The conversation you’re trying to have is about low conviction rates, which is a valid topic, but a different conversation.
