i had the same problem with all these “-moe” communities, and found out piefed has a great solution. from the web ui you can add a filter, and block any community with the word moe in one go rather than playing whack a mole every time a new one pops up or blocking a whole instance full of people

hard agree about humanizing this piece of shit in general, but the original (afaik) this picture is riffing off is of this kid showing this to adolf hitler. in that context i think this is really funny, at least for people who’ve seen the other version

The post isn’t saying people are too mean to AI, if anything it’s saying people aren’t mean enough to memes. OP’s pointing out a logical inconsistency that’s probably most relevant here (very anti-AI and pro-memes space), not defending anything (let alone AI).
