Same, ran FOG for a long time, but setting it up appropriately and for others to use on a corporate R&D network I did not have full control over was fiddly.

A lot of smart watches require some form of cloud API through a major mobile OS, and I can’t think of any that don’t. Direct local sync is possible with Gadgetbridge though.
There’s also this guy who modded the ubiquitous cult classic Casio F91W: https://n-o-d-e.net/datarunner.html
Personally I like the Apple Watch, I have the LTE model because I like to leave my distraction rectangle at home when I can and still be available for calls. I do have a few Casio’s as well though, an A168 which is basically an F91W clad in metal and with a better back light, and also a Casio CA53W, the calculator wrist watch.

The White House has strongly denied all of the reports’ claims, accusing “crazed” Democrats of “a desperate attempt to distract Americans” and insisting that the president has been “fully exonerated of anything related to Epstein.”
Funny, the White House started a whole ass war to distract from the Epstein files. Projection at it’s finest.

If a hacker can get PXE boot working reliably I’d hire them
Happy for you, enjoy the fuck out of it!

Well ain’t that just fucking great?

Go ahead and remove the other 75% as well.

Thank you for linking that talk. I wasn’t expecting something that deep and also funny. I concur with your recommendation wholeheartedly.

True, and for most things you get a choice, in contrast to Windows/MacOS. But if the kernel itself slides down this path there’s not a lot you can do unless you’re willing to sacrifice enormous amounts of time and effort.
I’m kind of done with this passion, I’ll be investing more of my time into yard maintenance and my boat.

It’s getting harder to justify the inconvenience of going off the beaten path if that path is turning into the same slop as the commercial ones.

No shit? Breed dependence, then squeeze. That has always been the playbook and business idiots keep falling for it.
Now instead of squeezing your workers you get fucked by Silicon Valley. If you bent over for that, all I can say is enjoy that 6 foot cock of consequences, assholes.
The more I’m on it the more I’m fucking done. I’m going sheep farming.
The headline is: One of the private keys protecting part of the global HTTPS trust system was, according to a report from The Register published October 20, 2026, the number 4. Not a 384-bit cryptographic value. Just the digit 4.

You can keep that power. I have the power to nut whenever I want.
