How the fuck are residential proxies even legal?

Algorithms really got Gen Z to stop spelling “fuck”, huh?

It’s okay to feel things.

Explain?

Pretty wild how people are replying to you suggesting a company should (or even could) just break court orders for their customers. That’s just not how the world works.

I wasn’t passing a value judgement on UBI or if these people should have it. Just saying that we won’t learn much from it since it doesn’t represent a “standard” economy.
For instance, one of the biggest open questions (and common arguments against it) is whether or not it’s sustainable. Which is fairly irrelevant when it’s just being paid for by basically an endowment.

Ah damn, so I guess that means it won’t be a very good experiment. Too small and based on reparations means it won’t be very representative of other economies.

I’d still like to see the user base more diverse, but I’d be happy to stay if it’s just linux geeks.

People keep saying that without explaining why. My curiosity is likely to get the better of me.

At Proton, the engineering and product management roles are merging and we call this new discipline “Product Engineering”. Proton also mostly hires product managers with engineering backgrounds. It means we stop hiring engineers who just code, and hire instead product engineers who also exercise product judgment that AI doesn’t have, not that we don’t hire engineers at all.
eugh

Nah. You build systems like this in a way you need multiple signers to move this level of funds. It’s absolute negligence that one operator could do this. Giving that level of control to a single person is asking for an attack like this.
I say this as someone that’s worked on systems like these at a smaller scale.

The world’s largest crypto exchange said an initial investigation suggests “the security incident may involve a compromised DevOps engineer’s laptop, which allowed an attacker to gain access to a service container and submit unauthorized withdrawal transactions.”
A single engineer for the largest crypto exchange in the world can move $6b in funds? Really?

Dropbox is considering using cognitive training tools, like memory exercises and attention-span training, to keep them mentally sharp.
You know, work can be pretty good as memory and attention exercises.

Don’t forget datacenters being bombed as military targets.

Knots, please
I’m not the most social person, but wouldn’t it be nice to just leave your house and interact with your neighbors and recognize people on the street and shit?
