You can now write and read open reviews on any website, with our new browser extension for Firefox and Chrome or other Chromium browsers. No integration by the site needed.
Open a place on OpenStreetMap or Google Maps, or a book page with an ISBN, and the extension finds the subject for you. On other pages you review the website itself.

Mangrove reviews got recently integrated into CoMaps. This Mangrove plugin looks interesting, but it’s not available on mobile right?
I think the button was grayed out on Fennec but I haven’t had the time to dig in
EDIT: on mobile, one can use MapComplete with OSM account
Bringing the cesspit of Youtube comments to every web page on the internet. Fantastic job chaps.
I’m afraid it might be hard to have open source reviews without some amount of the thing you mention. But at least they seem to be aware of the problem (first point in that link)
Good thing you can ignore it.
I would not mind if you can block folks. would be good to have a way to search users comments. can look for stuff that make blocking large numbers at a time easier. we may need that for here actually eventually.
But why do any of that? Are websites really screaming out for comments sections?
it would be useful for products and such since review sites are all unreliable now.
Are you the dev?
