foreign market stabilizing after wild speculation over nothing took over the world
I’m confused if this is bad for China or just another example of how terrible AI(cough just llms not actually ai) fucked the world markets just like the dot com bubble but worse
Its almost like the real problem is capitalism
Tbh nothing weird going on imo It’s the Pig cycle economics, but 100 years later. Though probably the first one was the infamous Tulip Mania crisis in the 1630s.
" Just like all other Chinese manufacturers, (chipmakers and AI suppliers) will eventually end up in a price war," said fund manager Wang Zhuo, partner at Shanghai Zhuozhu Investment Management. “There’s no exception,” he said. “All bubbles inevitably burst.”
It just happens intenser in China due to their unified approach and Gvment pushes.I.e what the Party wishes.
This article is weirdly written with lots of nested sentences within other sentences. The space savings doesn’t make up for the confusion.
Paywall bypass for that article
Edit: The archive I was pointing to was evil. I’ll see if I can find another place to read the article without a paywall, but no promises.
Edit 2: Ok. I think I found one. I don’t think they archive the page, but it appears they do bypass the paywall. Hopefully this one isn’t similarly malicious.
You do know that Archive.today is used to DDoS another website, right?
Nope! This is the first I’d heard of it. I’ll remove my link. I may not have time right now to find another no-paywall source for that article, but at least not contributing to DDoSing someone would be good. Thanks for the heads-up.
