Republicans have long sought to undercut Hutchinson’s testimony regarding a story she said had been relayed to her secondhand about President Trump lunging for the steering wheel of his presidential limo following his speech on the Ellipse on Jan. 6.

Trump has vehemently denied the account and other White House employees did not corroborate the specific detail about Trump lunging.

The Washington Post first reported that a grand jury refused to indict Hutchinson.

We naively trusted our elected officials to do the necessary instead of abdicating their responsibility to protect the nation by prosecuting the crimes committed IN PLAIN SIGHT.

I’m not necessarily convinced that it was malicious by everyone involved, but certainly some.

Basically every single person in the chain just slow walked it, with the exception of Jack Smith who was focused on doing a thorough unimpeachable job as a priority over a quick result.

      Every other link was slow.

It was slow-walked to give the impression that they were doing anything at all. Behind the scenes, they’re all on the same dick (the rich). They don’t want their golden calf thrown in prison. Look at all Trump has given them. He’s proven that a sufficiently capable piece of shit can become president and will use all that power to enrich himself and the oligarchs who pretend to bow at his feet.
