    That link is quite something.
So they arrested her and the comments all say it’s because she is a fraud and only runs an aesthetic business and not qualified for emergency medical aid.

Yes, that’s the big problem here.
Not the torturing nazis that used her services.

The regime explanation basically confirming what she said was true and admitting they have no valid reason for detaining her (for what crime?).
Now they are looking to find motives (for her non-crime) “He suggested they could range from personal interest — popularity or money — to a possible anti-state aim.”

i was going to say something like this – even the most well read and informed liberals i know actively chose to ignore it.

one of them even acknowledges directly to me in private that he’s willfully ignoring episodes and continues to insist in the same breath that he’s all in for human rights and democracy nonetheless – he’s the one i have mind when i think of the stereotypes of liberal since his take enrages me and i think it’s because i used to believe the same thing.

From the West? See post. The only thing I can tell is this woman is the paramedic and she is in a type of trial. But so far no Western outlet is either rebuking or confirming this pretty large story

From the above Ukrainain propaganda linked above site we can see the main claim of the story, that people were being tortured by Azov which the woman exposed, is true. Despite the many obvious Ukranian lies in the article trying to discredit everything.

National Guard Commander Oleksandr Pivnenko said the building was being used as a temporary placement site for conscripts, and that the four hospitalized people were considered absent without official leave (AWOL).

The Azov Corps, to which the unit belongs, confirmed that the four had injuries and said those responsible would be punished if unlawful violence was confirmed.
