Both parties are predators, I’m not against voting for liberals because of some intellectual moral abstract reason, it’s because it normalizes the bad things they’re doing, and it tells them that they can just get away with going right. WHEN DOES THIS SHIT END? When Democrats become literally identical to Republicans but are polite about it when they deport people or defund trans healthcare? 100% Hitler pedophile vs. 99% Hitler 100% pedophile vote blue no matter who!

Let’s have a reminder of what this was like 6 years ago. How much lesser evil liberals are capable of gleefully endorsing? Let’s open up the archives…

Normalization is not equivalent to speedrunning.

This is a bullshit comparison, especially because Nazi Germany had a far closer equivalent of the SPD to the democratic party.

So it’s the SPD/sopade vs Nazis if anything.

If you’re going to make Hitler allegories at least keep the ratios accurate. Instead you’re making shit up because reality doesn’t match your conclusion.

As for your first image, at best you’re trying to assert that the quoted Twitter user is what all people who vote for democrats think. Which is dumb as shit if you give it even a second of thought.

I think that’s an accurate comparison. The SDP feigned progressivism while toadying up to corporate power and bashing the left, which resulted in declining economic conditions for everyone outside of the ruling class. Those economic conditions led to radicalization, and when things got hairy the capitalists supported the Nazis, because they didn’t want to redistribute wealth. It was Hindenburg, endorsed by the SDP, who appointed Hitler as chancellor.

So it’s like, Hitler vs the people who created the economic and political conditions that led to Hitler’s rise. Hitler now, or a few more years of declining conditions and then Hitler.

The way to avoid Hitler altogether is if things actually get fixed, which the Democrats won’t do (because they benefit from the status quo) unless they can be pressured into it, and making votes conditional on the bare minimum needed to avert decline is one way of applying that pressure.
