Yeah given that place frequently SWATs and doxes people, no thanks.

Lmao wat? What “hurt their feelings” Mao being mentioned or all the deaths? He just mentioned him in relation to a meme.

Is that graph actually real/based on data?

“Really it’s the trans women who are oppressing the cis women. The trans women are oppressing all of us with skyrocketing insurance rates, and by making us look at them.”
“Wheel chair bound people are oppressing able bodied people with skyrocketing building cost due to mandating ramps and elevators thanks to the ADA; and by making us look at them.” Incredible someone can’t see this same warped logic applied to them.
That arsehole went off and made a bunch of their own comms. Fortunately they rarely seem to do well.

On a somewhat related note, simple green is the ducks nuts.
1 Most ISP use this, one of the main beginning steps for self hosting is requesting a static IP (actually you may not even need this, just having one automatically opts you out of CGNAT for my ISP) 2. Surely this is worded to mean “you can’t host a server farm from your domestic service (pay us for a different, more expensive service)” and not “no self hosting allowed”?
Personally, port forwarding was pretty low on the list. Also, what happened to portfoward.com? It was invaluable to me back in the day but is jammed with ads now (at least on mobile). Once you figure it out for your particular router it’s pretty much done. Also, if a provider charges you enough for a static IP to host a VPS, you need a new ISP. Unless VPS’ are cheaper than I expected?
For me when I first started it was VLANs (former ISP had one, “bricked” a router trying to make it work before I knew what I was doing), subnetting and getting shit like mariaDB to work/docker in general.
I really appreciate that response.
