One would think, but once you’ve stuck your head in the sand, it can be hard to pull it out. Also, maybe he suspected but didn’t care and didn’t want to admit that for fear of being found complicit.

It’s not the first, or even tenth thing that would come to mind for most husband/fathers.

According to Judd, Shane Clemens became angry after his mother called deputies and they arrested him. That’s when he informed deputies that he and his mother had been having a sexual relationship since he was 18 years old, according to Judd.

I’m 60. I grew up in California and when I had to start earning my way at 18, I soon realized I’d never be able to afford a house there. So, I moved to NM. I was barely able to afford to buy a house here, and I’m almost done paying it off.
My son works, but I don’t think he’ll be able to afford to buy a house any time soon. My hope is I’m able to hang on to the house till I die and give it to him. So, at least he’ll have that.
I’ve never told my son what I think he should do. But, if he asked… I’d have no idea what to tell him. Shit is fucked up, now, and I didn’t see it coming.
This is one of the gayest things I’ve ever read.

Writing fiction is so much fun.
When you start writing, you’re in control, but about 1/3 of the way through a longer story, the characters start taking over and leading the way, to the point that if you’re not careful, they’ll lead you astray from the story you want to write, and they’ll start writing their own story--which may or may not be a better story. If you’ve never experienced this, it’s surprising the first time it happens.
