I see what you mean. I turn notifications off for basically everything so I never knew that Voyager doesn’t send out notifications.
So unfortunately I don’t think there’s a workaround for your problem.

I used jerboa for some time and then switched to voyager.
In think it’s really thought out and clean experience. It also gets updated frequently and the team behind it listen to user feedback.
