Depending on the highway, the cyclist is fine. Considering they’re taking a left turn it is likely a 2 lane highway, where cyclists are allowed, and that cyclist is following the road rules, even signalling their turn.

4·8 hours agoWorst case YT blacklists your IP, usually temporarily. I’ve had it happen a few times, had to dial up my throttle avoidance settings.

3·2 days agoThat’s what I meant by a major update to Android, though you’re of course more correct. I cannot wait for a proper FOSS mobile phone OS.

Yeah, but give us a guideline. Give us some damn graphs and charts so we can figure out a ballpark.
Yeah, I usually have a couple of pints and am home by 8 if we leave immediately or 9-10 if we hang out longer.

Yeah, I have mine run if I’m home via location of my phone, then it adjusts room-by-room based on where people (or the Cat) are. It’s pretty much completely automatic based on a bunch of variables, I rarely have to adjust it manually.
I feel you on not knowing where the break even point of heat pumps is! It’s so frustrating that that isn’t published.

Exactly, I do stuff after work. In the morning I just go to an office that has electric lighting.
Of course there are jobs that don’t take place in an office, but having worked one of those, in my case we already just worked daylight hours, not a 9-5.

2·3 days agoAhh, yeah, I guess I haven’t compared it to my actual bill yet. I should do that. Have to wait a few more months for data to pile up as I just moved in. I will say, I don’t understand why it matters if it perfectly matches the utility company, what are you exactly trying to do?
And yeah, two sensors. I put it on the lines into my house as my main concern was going over 100a in the whole house, as my old house doesn’t have a main breaker. I do see now that you wanted to do a device-by-device breakout so that would require buying a fair few of these, and there’s gotta be a cheaper way.
Yeah, my thermostat automations and scripts are crazy complicated. They also involve location and motion of course.
I can get that kinda, though the big nicety about computers is that they’re universal tools for doing all sorts of things. What do you browse the web on?

homeassistant@lemmy.world•How to monitor 240v ac (US) power use?English
2·3 days agoI have this thing, if you didn’t find it in your searching. It seems accurate enough to me, but I’m not sure how I (or any other reviewers) would test that for certain. Guess I could turn off all but one circuit and put a kill a watt on a microwave or something. Whenever I’ve checked the graphs the readings make sense to me based on what was running at the time.

What does speed have to do with legality? I see bikes on 2 lane highways semi-frequently.
