I’ve taken over the community event association in my village. Soon we have a free community-wide garage sale, several workshops (food fermenting, then bread baking, basket weaving, and bike repairs), and a Linux install party.

Not the people I don’t know, surely? There are limits.

I’m without a car for a few days, 15 kilometers from the nearest shop. NBD, I have everything I need.
My neighbor asked me if I wanted him to drive me into town. Told him thanks but I only needed milk, it wasn’t worth the bother, I could do without milk for a few days.
The same night I found a carton on my doorstep.
I love my community.
