PSA if you play VR games there is an excellent ripoff of Battlefield called Forefront. It’s just like Battlefield in VR. I hope EA never notices it

7·3 days agoSolar is fast and getting better continuously. The new battery technologies like Sodium Ion are eliminating the downsides to it. We just need a big battery shack on every block with safe sodium battery storage and solar panels on all the house roofs.

News@lemmy.world•New Evidence Allegedly Ties Trump to 11 Sexual Assaults Related to EpsteinEnglish
4·4 days agoNo, that’s pretty much bullshit. The Biden administration cooperated with Ron Wyden’s financial investigations into Epstein and his co-conspirators like billionaire Leon Black, and they also did not have the same access to the Epstein files that was granted after the Epstein Files Transparency Act was passed under the current regime. Ron Wyden’s investigation was aided by the Biden DOJ, and in January 2025 the Trump DOJ revoked all access to Wyden to impede his ongoing investigation.

Mumonkan number 14: Nansen kills the cat
Once the monks of the Western and Eastern Halls were arguing about a cat. Nansen, holding up the cat, said, “You monks! If you can say a word of Zen, I will spare the cat. Otherwise I will kill it.” No one could answer, so Nansen cut the cat in two. That evening, when Joshu returned, Nansen told him of the incident. Joshu thereupon took off his sandal, put it on his head, and walked off. Nansen said, “If you had been there, the cat would have been saved!”
That’s a great one to read in his voice in the imagination
