Yes, you cannot be convicted of the crime you were pardoned from. THAT’S why you are no longer allowed to “take the 5th” (refuse to indict yourself).
NOW if they catch you in a LIE, they can negate your pardon.
To protect your pardon, you can’t lie.
When you get pardoned, you can no longer take the 5th in a courtroom, you were pardoned!
The pardon is for federal crimes, NOT state crimes.
The first one to talk gets the best deal.
Or nuke it from orbit. It works both ways.
When you remove a cancer you have to remove some good tissue around it…to be sure.
