The nature footage was all a distraction to pacify the straights. The real commercial was just the sentence fragment “Subaru invites you to come out”. It was meant to say that Subaru supports queer people. It was a resounding success in promoting the ‘Subaru driving lesbian’ stereotype.
Yes, they can impeach (put Trump on trial) but they cannot remove him from office. They would need a supermajority of the Senate for that. Trump has already been impeached twice.
The only threat the Democrats have is to make the impeachment trial a public affair and present evidence of Trump’s wrongdoing. They cannot force him to testify under oath due to the Fifth Amendment. It will not do much good since Trump is not allowed to run for reelection.
