I call it pedonald, with no capital letter.

Fediverse rise!

Here in Québec, there is a song by Gilles Vigneault that somehow became what we use to sing happy birthday to someone. Beautiful song, great guy who, at around 95 years old , had his music removed from Spotify because they gave millions to Joe Rogan.

Did someone mentioned that trump is a dirty pedophile yet? Cause he is.

Please please may all of this implodes and all tech giants go broke because people realize whe don’t need them, we already have the fediverse and open-source softwares so can build a fair digital economy and get rid of the GAFAM and their friends.

I have no doubt it is highly creative.
That’s why I trust that good devs will keep making the important choices and only use AI for optimization and technical parts of the work. My position is nuance, I still want pro devs behind every projects, I just think most of them are smart enough to decide when and why the use of AI is appropriate.

I think AI will either destroy us all or, here is the optimism, save us all.
If you ask an LLM for a 10 steps plan to save the world, it will give you the more leftist program you cam think of, with practical solutions to a lot of our problem. If use in a good way, AI as the potential to cure diseases, fix environmental problems, optimize production, etc.
The problem is not AI itself, the problem is AI when combined with capitalism. That’s why wr need to appropriate AI and can’t be passive avout it, to fight back.

That’s why I mentioned that I want real devs looking at the code.

Unpopular opinion: I don’t mind the use of AI by devs if it makes their work easier. As long as the devs are pros who understand whats going on and uses it to optimize their workflow, fine go ahead.
Where I don’t whant AI is, first, in anything creative. I want art to be abother humans sharing their emotions and perception of the world, ever if it’s sometimes poorly done, boring, or plainly bad. I have zero interest in art created by a machine, no matter how perfectly executed it is. The promise of AI was to make our life easier by optimising the boring and repetitive stuff so we can make fun and interesting things, not the other way around.
My question was always: suppose they reach their goal and half of the jobs gets replaced by AI in the coming years, who do they expect will buy all the shit they sell if half the planet is out of work? Cause that’s all they do, sell shitty products and services.
