I don’t believe they recalibrate anything. They’re just financed by foreign actors to disturb peace and stability in Europe.

You can listen passively during work (household, cooking, construction work) or while driving. You often need your eyes. Also radio often plays music which doesn’t consume a lot of active thoughts. It depends a bit on the station though, some talk a lot and play less music.

Until recently Halloween wasn’t really celebrated in Germany. However, we have Karneval and at least in my region there are lots of wagons and costumed marching groups and they throw candy at the costumed bystanders, mostly young kids and drunken adults.

However, not all of them throw candy. Some throw flowers, flower pots (take cover), bags of onions, leeks or bags of potatoes. This is because many farmers are involved and it’s originally a celebration before a 40 day fasting period and meant to celebrate the last big feast before it and to get rid of the perishable foods.

Maybe the stock cubes are meant in a similar way.
