Why would it work then and not now?

Needs more Paul Rudd

I’m quite certain there aren’t enough votes in the Senate to remove him if he does get impeached. it will be a monumental waste of time and effort
What’s changed since the last 2 impeachments? Other than a littany of additional crimes?

Doesn’t matter who hates him, he’s the face of the Republican party. If he goes down, they go down with him.

The best messengers are no messengers at all, they’re protocols. But here are just a few off the top of my head:

Yeah they don’t store an unencrypted list of every contact a user has or their user profile (which is what the site you point to says)
That’s not what it says. I already told you what it says. It says they received many subpoenas from the government, and every single time the only thing they can provide is the first and last time a number connected to their servers. If you’re not even going to read the content of what I’m referencing, I’m sorry but I’ll have to stop my responses here. I don’t have time or energy for trolling or willful or arrogant ignorance.
nor does it purport to
Brother, literally just look at the fucking website. Or their fucking marketing. Or basically fucking anything that they produce. You are high on crack.
I’m going to take your refusal to provide evidence as an admission that you have none. Good day.

It is 1000% not superior in usability.

Uhhhh no? They absolutely do not? And the page I just linked you to proves it. It’s full of requests from the government where they did not provide any of the information you suggested.

Google private vs secure communications.
No u.
Privacy is the company not sharing information about your communications. Legally this is nearly impossible for a corporate entity without anonymity.
It isn’t, and they don’t.
they can’t refuse an order from a government entity and thus are not 100% private
They don’t have to, because they are 100% private. They don’t have information to share.
Mailbox has Drive/Office and Meet included. VPN is undoubtedly Mullvad. Yes their CEO is a fascist but none of them are perfect. Mullvad is as close as it gets.
If you ever wanted to Cake Wallet is pretty much the gold standard for mobile crypto wallets.

that’s not it’s primary purpose and again, it does not purport to 100% privacy
Again, it does and it is. It’s plastered all over every webpage and document they have. You are confused.
The OP though is primarily complaining about privacy and not security and that’s what I’m trying to differentiate
Again, OP video is referring to anonymity, among other things.

Great. Make the kids use something else. There are a wealth of alternatives that will yield better results, fewer ads, and less invasive tracking.

Signal has never purported to be “private”
Uhhhh yes it has? That’s like the main thing it’s purported to be? You can control + F “privacy” 4 separate times on the homepage. I think you’re conflating this with anonymity .

Signal has had usernames for a good while now. It’s mentioned in the video. Unfortunately they don’t negate the need for a phone number.

“Better” is subjective. Absolutely there are “better” alternatives that are more resilient, but they’re also more complicated to understand and use.

I think you may have misread something. Signal is the golden standard for privacy. There are other issues with anonymity, longevity, stability, security, and corporate platform dependence that are discussed in the video.

it seems like Waydroid can fill in a lot of the Android gaps that are missing
the only actual potential DRM app I use is Nebula
Not really sure what you’re asking. Because of DRM/Widevine pretty much all streaming apps will be unavailable. So what does an “all in one living room box” entail, in your view?

The gripes are valid but the title is sensational.
Hopefully we get a handful more good ones in the near future.
