The biggest issue for daily use is USB devices (microphone, camera, etc) and hardware acceleration (HD video playback and video games).
But, yeah, I use it daily and only own 1 computer. Been my setup for years, and I could never go back. The pros outweigh the cons 100 times over
Absolutely yes. You don’t need an app for banking, just a website.
It’s safer too. I do all my banking in a Disposable VM. It’s a fresh install of Debian or Fedora, which takes one click and about 30 seconds to create and load. When you close the browser, the VM is destroyed. This is the safest way to do banking.

You have a remarkably good UX, except for this. If there’s a way to subscribe by keyword, I think that option should be presented after fresh install (when it asks for subjects and presents a list)
