I joined Lemmy back in 2020 and have been using it as @qaz@lemmy.ml until somewhere in 2023 when I switched to lemmy.world. I’m interested in systemd/Linux, FOSS, and Selfhosting.

Our findings suggest structural deficiencies in the ParticleDB QA process. Perhaps tests were not run prior to release. Perhaps the test suite was run, but failed to exercise basic functionality. Perhaps engineers entrusted Large Language Models with the work of testing.

Huh, checked out their profile and you might be right. Ironic that most of their recent posts are about AI
I’ve been following r/decomps recently. Several times a day someone posts a new AI-generated decompile, seemingly by AI agents sent off on a mission without any guidance, effort, or proper setup. I expected the tools / harnesses to develop first before seeing results like this. It’s insane that models have these abilities while still being based on what is fundamentally just text generation.

I mean, obviously, but I guess the only reason they’re saying this is because their own models aren’t that great (IBM granite sucks) and this way they can still sell consulting services.

Had an English teacher that would consistently use that phrase while explaining grammer etc.

Sure glad to hear the coup plotter’s son wasn’t elected

Probably nushell
That’s a shame, I liked some communities on there. Another example of the importance of the 3-2-1 rule.
