That sounds pretty cool!

That sounds pretty cool!

“code is just math with syntactic sugar”
Wow!
Tell me you don’t write code wihout telling me you don’t write code.
They still do. I heard it in the news yesterday.

Gosh I totally aggree! The amount of discussions I had about this is staggering.
From both sides. Devs who didn’t understand what a unit-test actually is and devs who thought if they have unittests that they must have perfect functionality.

You should definitely look at how your time related code works and not trust the libraries.
Because most of the time your assumptions about how your library works will be wrong. And the rest of the time your library will be riddled with bugs.

But that in itself is an outdated idiom. A car has engine power.

To update replace all with car.
Dont look under the hood of a gift car.
Buckle up.
Hold your engine.
Get out of your limousine.
Turn the key on a drowned engine.

What is boring about this? If anything it is maddening!
I mean I guess I agree insofar as math at some point becomes art.
A good proof can carry beauty in its elegance, simplicity and in its phsical expressions.
But coming from the original comment, this completely contradicts the whole argument.
