A few weeks ago,my wife and I went to a small barbecue at her colleague’s house. I didn’t know anyone else there, so spent a lot of time chatting with the 11yo son of the host. After we left, my wife received a message: “[Son] says that your husband is a ‘good bloke’”
High praise indeed.
I have similar numbers. It’s a small house with gas hot water and central heating, but with an electric power shower (which I absolutely hate) and we’re using 10kwh per day, plus 30kwh a week for the car, so around 100kwh per week.
