Hi,
I’m desperate for a good Todo app with proper Android notifications support, or at lease web push notifications from the browser.
Best I could find was Vikunja, but email notifications aren’t very practical for multiple daily tasks with reminders.
Lately I’ve been trying to use Obsidian as my tracker for things to do, but it’s just not that convenient for me and doesn’t trigger notifications.
I know selfhosted push notifications isn’t a simple problem to solve, so I don’t have much hope got a solution.
I’m so close to going back to Todoist, which to me is the gold standard, you guys are my last attempt 🙏

Older post but it’s popping up on the Active feed. I use DoneTick and Home Assistant. DoneTick is the chore/task manager, and Home Assistant sends the notifications
Must be something wrong with my HA or my phone, I cant get notifications to work.

For anyone wondering, I’m still using Super Productivity (though only a small part of its features) so far and I love it so much.
The sync with nextcloud is clean, and most importantly the way you add tasks is very todoist-like which is awesome.
I use this for absolutely every managemnt of tasks. Can 100% recommend.
Do you self host the sync server? Im using their infra atm but wondering if it’s worth switcing.
I use the nextcloud of a friend. No problems there.
