Probably 1/2 of the users on this platform are here as a protest against Reddit. Either the API stuff, or the admins nuking your account, or the mods being… goofy. Or the users, or who knows what.

I was banned in one sub for pointing out how heavy-handed the mods were being about pedantic shit. They are basement-dwelling asshats.

Oh, I’m using the default Lemmy desktop version, which doesn’t include the period in the link. That’s a bug in whatever client you’re using.
