MAGA & GOP view themselves as the pro-military party, which is really important because it means veterans often vote for them. The reality is MAGA & GOP is happy to vote for more military spending of the variety that puts money into the military industrial complex. They are way less willing to spend it in ways that benefit actual veterans.

I’m against war & the military and do not think highly of those that join. That said they are, technically, a public servant. And public servants should be granted public resources such as housing & healthcare & food. So yes, ‘especially veterans’, should get housing.

    But also yes, everyone should.

    logistically unenforceable

So true, no other country has radically reduced the rates of gun ownership & gun crimes & gun injuries via those stinky unenforceable ‘laws’ or whatever.

I also support the other stuff you suggested (unlike maga) but I won’t live in your fantasy world.

  • At the end of the day tarot card reading is a form of a scam. You are promising a product that does not exist thus it is a counterfeit product scam.

It doesn’t have the same “everyone knows this is fake” thing that magicians get away with, many people believe tarot reading is real and the readers go out of their way to convince you it is real. So if you want to know how to get better at scaming people, idk, go talk to scammers that will train you and try not to get scammed yourself along the way.

If you actually believed you had some mystical foresight, you wouldn’t be here asking anyways…

  • I wouldn’t choose to not work until I had a brokerage in the range of $4 Million. I could live on much less but I wouldn’t CHOOSE to not work.

If I had $2 Mil, I could live a modest lifestyle happily forever. Or… I could just work some chill job I don’t care much about and live a non-modest lifestyle. There are millions of low-stress jobs in the $40-60k range. 4% rule says $2Mil ~= $80k/year (don’t @ me with nuances). I would be much happier on $120k with a chill job than $80k with no job.

But at $4 Mil -> $160k I would prefer to just travel and have my time back.

The details would need to be adjusted if we assume a paid off house or not.
