Huh, I never really thought about it in the context of “what if you turned toast to powder?”

Powdered toast, also sometimes called cinnamon toast, is where you toast some bread and add some butter while it’s toasting so that it’s toasty and buttery. Then, you sprinkle on some “cinnamon-sugar,” aka, powdered cinnamon and granulated sugar mixed together, which sticks to the melted butter.

I always assumed it was some fantastical product that operated like powdered milk, but reconstituted into toast. I never watched that much R&S though. I found the grotesque style (in both the classical and everyday senses) to be offputting. I was still watching cartoons in Junior High – hell, I still watch good ones now – but I was more a Tiny Toon Adventures/Animaniacs guy.

I’ve been trying my best to wean myself off commercial entertainment for the last ten years or so. A boring life, yes, and refusing most hobbies out of ethical principle makes it extremely hard to make friends, but at least I’m mentally prepared to go live as a hermit in the middle of nowhere when push comes to shove

I’ve never watched that show as anything I’ve imagined it to be seemed problematic. What thing ruined that show for you?
