I obviously have none, so I’d like to see if I can mooch off of you lol.

Please don’t leave any pessimistic top level comments. Or do, I’m not your mom 🤷‍♂️.

yes, but at the same time I feel bad for kids. We are handing everything to them in a destroyed and broken state, including their education and the economy they will need to survive. There is also less joy and authenticity in the world as the boomers break everything in one last fit of childishness and self centeredness before they kick the bucket. They have taught the world that being shitty to each other is the only way to go. Everything is now monstrous.

I feel bad too, I keep apologizing to my kids. I’m determined to show them a different way at home. I worked very hard with the oldest to make sure he has a mature sense of empathy and compassion. He’s turning 21 this year and he grew up to be not like the others. My youngest is just starting school, he has more severe autism and it’s harder for him, but I’m working with him to make sure he understands and develops healthy coping mechanisms. We can’t change the rest of the world, but at least we can try with the people in our lives. If enough of us do that, the future will be better. I have faith that good will prevail despite the odds.
