I’m just happy when I go to a site and all the source for the page is 1st party.
Be me, build a static website, but use PHP on the backend as a way of making easily updatable templates for each page…
Funny. Just before the php nonsense I switched from Ghost to a static Astro site.
I got really frustrated because I got locked out of Ghost. They started to require email 2fa but have no support for TOTP.
I had Mailgun setup for password resets but it doesn’t use it for 2fa. So it now has a hard dependency on an SMTP server.
Between that and dropping SQLite / Postgres support for only MySQL is the opposite of simple and reliable. For a one person personal blog it’s not the right tool.
php is stored in the balls
ph pee is highly acidic.
