  • Nearly every major American city is surrounded by suburbs without trains/subways, and most of those people are driving 30-60 minutes (one way) every day for work.

It’s not really reasonable to compare petrol prices between Europe and America because the requirements are so different.

If your gasoline prices double, you just skip some leisure activities. Maybe take public transport to work if you usually drive. If our gasoline prices rise, working people can no longer meet their monthly expenses…and there’s no wiggle room. There’s nothing left to cut back on. Certainly not the fuel that takes one to work in the first place.

I every other sense, I agree with you. I wish American cities were not this way. But they are.

  • Why the fuck would impeachment be a priority? Like in what world do you think that’s what the fucking election was about?

You think the people of Texas and South Carolina elected Democrats because they want to see some DC fight? No, goddamnit, they didn’t. Those people are tired of the reality tv government show.

They want $3 gas, groceries they can afford, and that dumbfuck war to stop. They want health care they can afford. They want financial security, a future for their kids, and a functioning society.

They want us to stop giving Netanyahu his Genocide Allowance.

But mostly, they want to be able to stop thinking about the fucking government. They want to spend their life energy on their kids and their families and their community/church/hobbies.

Last thing they voted for was more theater, more spectacle, more of this shit.
