It’s news when it goes down a bit but it’s not news when it’s back on all-time-high 3 months later.
There is always a well-known solution to every human problem - neat, plausible, and wrong.
H. L. Mencken

I’m not anti-AI in any shape or form but even I acknowledge that those companies are overvalued. I don’t remember ever seeing anyone claiming otherwise. Least of all here. I’m sure you can find people like that but I don’t hang where those people do.
However I do disagree about the implication that the bubble has somehow now shown to have been actual. It’s not. No actual crash has happened. Also, many people seem to be under the impression that the bubble bursting would somehow make AI go away. That I disagree with as well.

Nobody is advocating against buying the dip. We’re questioning the decision to start buying just before it.

You buying already? Report back in 6 months on how it went.

Considering that it’s first and foremost an audio format it only makes sense to invest in a mic that produces the clearest sound. If a clip-on mic could achieve that then that’s what they’d use. They still use those massive camera rigs that move on wheels to film in studios too, where as one might think that any modern camera on a tripod would do the same thing - it wouldn’t.
They sell these in IKEA I believe.
No. GTA probably at some point but considering I haven’t even finished the story mode on GTAV, it’ll probably take a while. I’m not much of a gamer anymore anyway.
Stainless steel should not be put in the dishwasher either. A knife shouldn’t even be left wet/dirty in the first place - that alone is enough to dull it over time.
I believe it’s a nordic thing more broadly, but yes.
I used pine oil soap mixed with hot water and let them sit in a strong solution for a few hours and then gave a once-over with a stiff nylon brush. I haven’t tried that before but it works with paint brushes so I figured I’d give it a go. Brushes I let soak for days, though. Worked alright - it removed roughly 92% of it.

I have no clue what you’re trying to ask

It’s not a shadow ban. Post/comment visibility is just highly restricted for new accounts. No one simply tells you that. You comment normally but nobody can see those comments. It’s to counter spam.

I fail to see what is so injust about it. Loan, by definition, is something you’re expected to pay back. If someone borrows you their car you return it with a full tank. If someone borrows you money you pay back with interests. Seems fair to me.

I’d pay it back immediately. The interests for something like that are in the tens of thousands.

You’re hard pressed to find a more vindictive audience than what we’ve got here. Everyone’s on a constant hunt for something to disagree about or to maybe spot a small crack that lets the actual motives shine through and when they spot something they point it out viciously. Can’t just politely disagree with anyone let alone try and have a constructive conversation about how much we actually disagree about. No, they used AI and thus this person gets written off completely and called an asshole and fascist for it.
This makes even less sense when you consider the fact that usually the underlying reasons are political. To win in politics, all you need is numbers. That’s it. So why the fuck is everyone constantly put through this Navy SEALs hell week level of scrutiny. Nobody is ever good enough. Sometimes makes it feel like some simply want to lose just so that they can keep complaining how everything is the fault of someone else.

No one is stopping me from becoming a different person if I wanted to so the fact that I’m not taking dramatic steps to change indicates that I’m probably roughly where I want to be.
I do admire people like Andrew Camarata for their work ethic, but again - nothing is stopping me from doing the same, yet I don’t, so maybe I just want the results, not what it actually takes to get there.
My role model is Snufkin character from the Moomin cartoon/anime. A quiet, humble, independent professional.

Nobody needs X is a moot point. You also don’t need the vast majority of your possessions. Some things are simply nice to have, especially when you can afford them. There are just things that you don’t like other people having.
Also, the chance of you dying on a place crash either as a passenger or a person on the ground is astronomically small. 104 people died in a car crash yesterday in the US alone and this is true for every single day of the year.

There is no single right answer to that as nobody knows what the actual outcome of it would be.
Best case scenario is that AI (and advanced robots) do everything you don’t want to do and you can focus on the other things. It would cancel the need for human labour and theoretically has the capability to answer all questions and solve all problems that there is a solution to.
In the worst case it either destroys us entirely or worse, creates a hell for us to live in.
An every imaginable scenario in between.

Sorry for your loss!
I said clearest sound. Yes, Shure SM7B is widely considered to be among the best at that. If you’re producing an audio product then it makes zero sense to buy an inferior microphone just because it looks better. That’s entirely missing the point of the format.
