As everyone else in the thread, yes, but at least it’s a bit more limited… as in, you’ll run out of content quicker.

I think the Fediverse shows that it’s not only algorithms that push sooner content; the core issue is humans. We’re a lot more likely to share and like/upvote something that upsets, and some days I think that is very noticeable on here…

Imo still worth reminding people that just because you run an apt/dnf upgrade running applications still map the now unlinked outdated version.

That kind of is the proper way to handle this. You don’t want to hint bad actors where to look and give people some time to update.
