Dispatch just ties to get the information to send appropriate help. What do you think dispatch could do differently? Oh, it’s ICE calling, I better not listen to them? Then the ambulance wouldn’t be sent. They sounded professional. ICE sounded psychotic for what they just did to a person. No remorse or care.

There’s a great book by John Scalzi called Starter Villain. It starts off with a pretty normal guy being asked to preside over his estranged uncle’s funeral. It gets pretty funny when every guest who attends is just there to make sure the body is in fact dead and is really the uncle. I was surprised with how much I enjoyed the book.
