Technically he is founder of Tesla though. He just didn’t found it.
For some reason, in the US you can buy the title of “founder of X”. He just bought if from the actual founders.

Mine has some blocking sidewalks too which is indeed infuriating.
Some, however, are placed in former parking space, which means no space is lost for pedestrians without having to make the sidewalk physically bigger by reworking the former parking lots.

If they deleted the data you’d be calling it a murder instead of holding it hostage lol.
When I board a plane, I know that when the plane lands, I gotta take my luggage with me when I exit the plane.
When I stop paying for a VPS, I loose all access to that VPS. When I close an email account, I lose those emails.
When my subscription to private repos ends. I no longer have access to those private repos. Slow storage is pretty cheap. They can just move private repos from users that have stopped paying into long term storage, and free up precious nvme storage.
I don’t usually defend corporations. But this is a service you signed up for, knowing the conditions of the deal.
It’s like complaining that you’re obligated to return the keys to your hotel after the agreed upon date/time.

to win three by a little
Which means that if you miscalculate that “little”, you lose all 3. As the parent comment states.

How is that a scam tactic? You got access to private repos for some amount of time. It is clear to any reasonable person that you would lose access after the pro version ends.
If you didn’t want your repos to be “held hostage”, just clone them before the subscription expires.
I benefitted from student GitHub pro too, and I used it knowing that the day would come where my free subscription would end and I’d lose access to it.

I thought musk already doxed himself less than a month ago when buying some Legos or something
Same. And it is the opposite of fun.

He is technically wrong though. His argument is based on people only using DRAM for model inference. Which is nuts.
People use DRAM for a lot of things more beneficial than AI inference. And those use cases are also many times more efficient than whatever this Epstein class guy is using it for.
A CNC machine that produces actual goods that are actually beneficial to humanity does need DRAM. I doubt it needs more than 100MB though. An LLM counting the RS in strawberry eats up a gazillion TB of DRAM to produce nothing of value.
That’s inside the macro though. Whatever you parse inside the macro is defined by the creator of the macro. The macro invocation itself is defined by the rust language.
Rust allows you to use any bracket because it doesn’t know what the macro is supposed to do.
Some macros work like functions:
println!("Hello world");
Some macros work like array declarations:
let v = vec![1,2,3];
And some macros work like a code scope:
select!{
a => myfunc(),
b => my_other_func()
}
Since rust doesn’t know what your macro does, it just lets the user choose whatever the user sees more fitting for that specific macro invocation.
Funny that you put rust as the “uses parenthesis for function calls”. When in rust you can use any bracket for macro invocations:
let v1 = vec!(1,2,3);
let v2 = vec![1,2,3];
let v3 = vec!{1,2,3};
These are valid and have the exact same meaning.

They’ll still DoS the entire internet. It’s just that it will no longer be done by LLMs directly.
She’s a known sexist. Basically all her posts are like this.

I wish. Am European. I know one person that voluntarily uses their date and time formats. For reasons I will never comprehend.

I wouldn’t say that vscode is awful. It’s not good though. Even while being the best.
To add: jetbrains IDEs are awful

You don’t need to declare independence to be independent. Only if you were dependent in the first place you claim independence.
ROC was never dependent on PRC. They just both claim the same territory. They are 2 independent countries that claim the same territory, just like both Israel and Palestine are 2 independent countries that claim the same territory.

Well, you can say stupid shit and only realize it after you already posted it.
In those situations it’s better to just edit the comment so people can still read the stupid shit with the context that the commenter doesn’t believe in the stupid shit anymore.

You went through my comment history and quoted me, to just not read the whole quote.
Here, I’ll help you:
It’s fine if someone already answered with what you were going to answer. You can just upvote that guy and move on.
As I said, there are already 3 top comments explaining to you why you’re being downvoted. I don’t need to explain myself when I mostly agree with them, I just upvote them.
If everyone had to explain every downvote, we would have hundreds of comments on each post, and most of them would say the same thing.

There are at least 3 comments with well laid arguments (hint, they have way more up votes than the post). You have answered to none of them.
The tax is not depending on where the data comes from. If the data is delivered to France, it is taxed. Moving the place where it is hosted solves nothing.
Otherwise, this would not tax American companies.
