I went with mailbox in the end and it’s been pretty good so far. It’s not the main reason I chose them but it is so much easier to read out “mailbox dot org” over the phone to someone than having to spell out the name of some of the other privacy-focused providers.

It’s our first Halloween living in a nice-ish area and it was a bit of culture shock getting so many trick or treaters. I bought so much chocolate and we ran out within an hour of the first kids at the door. Most of them were polite and it was nice to pay it forward this year, it was always my favourite holiday as a child.

Thanks, I’ve just emailed them there to see if I can get it cancelled and refunded from a month from now, just to have a few weeks to migrate. Now it’s just a case of looking for alternatives which’ll be a pain cause I naively put all my eggs in Proton’s basket…

My proton subscription just auto-renewed for the year which sucks but I guess I have a year to migrate somewhere less shit
