Most people that go into making games don’t go into it for profit. Do you think my friend went to make a Halo game because it was to make money or because it was fun to have a lan party?

and the missing ones.

Believe it or not these methods are already available and good thing no one told the orange man he can do it. And as in the news you can clearly see no fucks given when it comes to things like that.

If you want to kiss valves’ ass, be my guest. A company with 300 or so employees making a 3-4 billion profit last year is the same as Uber. Everyone’s just a contractor and should be happy they use the platform. I’m not arguing if walmart or amazon is better. They both suck and they’re stores. Valve has a nice history of suck as well as all the rest, everyone turns a blind eye to this. So I’m not going to pretend they’re the good guys.

There are no checks and balances. And per example, what would happen if all tech industries pulled the plug on Europe?–that could happen, look at starlink.

Is that the case? I didn’t really ask much about it since it becomes a heated discussion.

Yeah most people don’t remember being forced to get steam to play cs. And the fun of going from 150fps to sub 30fps. Nor buying HL2 day one and having to wait 3 weeks to play it–I should have just bought the cd version at the local store sigh

So I really hate epic. And the Ai BS. And this moron. But I have an unpopular opinion on steam/valve.
I will say, a couple friends are game devs and they have a very negative outlook on the 30% cut. One told me that there’s something like 80 games a month added to steam and that most have a 1-5% success rate. In other words, most of these game developers are being milked by steam(punny coffee joke). So rough math aside, between the steam cut, taxes–I don’t know if the steam cut is taxed, overhead; then splitting up pay and likely getting taxed on that, you’re basically making pennies. Bantering for Valve is like bantering for Google. Think of it this way, you go to work get paid but 30% of your paycheck is taken but you get nothing out of it. And you’re told worship your employer, just like you should worship amazon and walmart.

No worries, we’re here for the chat. Though you should try Baskin if you’re into horror movies. I’ve watched a lot but that was different.

Trump says he doesn’t ‘give a damn’ about gas prices as US making ‘fortune’
Fixed the title.

That last paragraph is interesting because in my opinion; Europe has been supporting the US, so they have no room to talk. I got tired of the why don’t you protest bullshit. It’s because you paid for it, with every arms, apple, google, amd, nvidia, intel, microsolp, etc purchase that the US made. This isn’t a popular opinion but it should be recognized that you’re indirectly paying in as well.
Open software should be pursued.

It’s an addiction. And nobody taught them Noblesse oblige. At the end of the day, they’re just unwanted kids that can’t fill their void.

And not the first time…

I don’t know, I like it. I’m a fan of Laurence Fishburne and I like horror movies and sci-fi stuff and wh40k. Also the scene where he’s like, yeah we’re getting the fuck out of here made it the most realistic horror movie. I mean if you want something intense, watch Baskin; it’s a Turkish horror movie.

The film deteriorated? And well that was 40 minutes of the movie cut so it didn’t get a NC-17 (porn) rating or whatever bs no one pays attention to these days.

heh these mines are MASSIVE. Someone found the unedited version of Event Horizon in one. Only a little bit of the footage was recoverable, it’s a shame. The movie would have been even better with those scenes; it’s one of my favorite movies.
It was whatever cheese was available mixed together with milk and with emulsifier to make it easier to process. The main purpose was food security. But it became a staple–Government cheese.
I’m not putting Mimolette on a cheeseburger.

The reality is that someone getting free healthcare and getting paid 175000 a year with other benefits doesn’t care about you.
I’m high maintenance. Like an old car. You’ll have to work to get my ass up to do anything. I won’t ask you for anything though. Sitting here is just fine.
Honestly to fulfill the dream of making video games. It’s kind of how blizzard didn’t have requirements of a college degree, instead a portfolio.
