You can predict an overall result of an election, without calling every single seat, based on statistics.

In Australia, this regularly happens where e.g. only a third of seats have been called, but the margins and swings are so great that it’s clear who has won, just not the exact result.

It’s 60-40 now. It’s still a comfortable win, but you have to take into account Republicans generally not voting early.

That and they see women in general as subhuman, and people “choosing” to be transwomen undermines their whole view of female inferiority.

The video performance and quality etc is good, but it’s barebones in terms of file access. Local only (although network shares mounted externally works), and the file selection is a bit annoying.

There’s a desktop Linux version as well, so it could also go on one of the general Linux communities.

Kinda mad Valve shipped the frame without a WebXR capable browser.

Not much they could do since Firefox doesn’t support it either. They’ve been working with the dev of the WebXR Chromium fork at least, but obviously, that wasn’t ready for launch.

This one is closed source, for the record. Although most of the other native players seem to be heavily vibe-coded, so this may be the lesser evil for now.

EDIT: I’ll add that most of the existing video players don’t work fully because both Proton (Windows compatibility layer) and Lepton (Android compatibility layer) lack full support for video hardware acceleration. So high resolution and high refresh rate content is out of the question. These new native players resolve this, but are mostly new so lack the polish of the Quest and Windows players (to a lesser extent).
