This got removed from politics because “Video links are not allowed” apparently? Pretty weird considering that most politicians say stuff on video nowadays and not really writing articles anymore since the invention of the radio pretty much lol. Hope it’s a better fit here, this is the kind of stuff people should be aware of.

Josh Turek of Iowa, Democrat, comes out with one of the worst anti-trans ads yet.
Not only is it an anti-sports ad, it proposes a ban on federal funding for gender affirming care. That would hit all medicaid and medicare patients, and any ACA federally-subsidized plans as well.
Nah, fuck that bullshit. I’m trans. If you don’t care enough about the lives of and my people to vote against transphobes, I don’t really care what happens to the rest of the country at that point. If the entire society wants to go bigot, well then you all can go straight to hell. Let democracy fall. You clearly don’t deserve it.
