This got removed from politics because “Video links are not allowed” apparently? Pretty weird considering that most politicians say stuff on video nowadays and not really writing articles anymore since the invention of the radio pretty much lol. Hope it’s a better fit here, this is the kind of stuff people should be aware of.

Josh Turek of Iowa, Democrat, comes out with one of the worst anti-trans ads yet.
Not only is it an anti-sports ad, it proposes a ban on federal funding for gender affirming care. That would hit all medicaid and medicare patients, and any ACA federally-subsidized plans as well.
The point is that the fettermans and the manchins stand out as spoilers precisely because they break party lines. The guy in this post is like them.
The flip side is that any republican who doesn’t act like a rabid fascist gets called a “RINO” and gets primaried.
If that’s “the same” to you then your worldview must be very tiny.
