I swear this exact story from this exact victim has been out for years. Down to the refusing to wear a condom and trowing money to “get a fucking abortion”

Obviously we should continue to repeat it but what changed since then? Why is the news only reporting on it now?

This is not a bomshell but a gaping crator of a bombshell that fell years ago.

For one the Democrats are supporting it, whereas before they were content to let “Justice” shoulder the questions and so on. So thats different.

Some may remember “Katie Johnson” brought these up prior to the 2016 election but was threatened with all manner of reprisals including rape and murder, of herself and family, likely by Michael Cohen and Roger Stone amongst a sea of Pepe incels. And so she ghosted her lawyer’s press conference and “disappeared”.

It’s notable these are DoJ interviews, not random tweets or something. Official people officially noted these allegations from a real person multiple times.

It’s an October Unsurprise serving as a timely October Reminder that the Donvict should be in prison and not applying gold decorating to the Oval Office.

Remember that Congress has been illegally blocked from accessing the unredacted files, but has had some limited access to what is behind the redactions. For those of us reading the report, there are many places where previously reported incidents are being fleshed out with the limited unredactions Congress has been able to get, as well as noting which redactions illegally stay exactly the way they are despite repeated efforts to lift them.

For example, the media has focused on the rape of Katie Johnson, the subject of this article. The assault was known. But look at pages 24 - 25 of the report, especially page 25.

When Katie Johnson first reported the assaults to the FBI in 2016 – the reports of which were hidden for years and are still redacted even to Congress – the FBI ran an internal check on both names at that time and found a case number from Epstein’s 2007 federal investigation that involved both Trump and Epstein.

In other words, Trump and Epstein have been linked to each other by the FBI in the context of child rape for almost twenty years.

As far as I can tell, this was never followed up, and the report makes clear that this is one of the many cases where Congress has the clear legal right, not just by office but via direct legislation, to access the unredacted files and yet has been repeatedly refused by Trump’s DoJ, currently headed by Trump’s personal attorney turned AG, Todd Blanche.

I strongly recommend reading the report for anyone who is interested in Donald Trump and the Epstein files. It is anything but a “nothing to see here, move along” set of pages.

I think it should be a steady drip-drip-drip of some story about Epstein and donnie. About one high-profile one per day should be headline news.

Even if they are recycled stories. I don’t care. This has not gotten nearly enough traction.

So far, besides Epstein, the only person that went to prison for this is Maxwell.

It’s like using “obviously” fake info to scam people, by only attracting those that would fall for something. The right does this constantly, all the time, across every media, and it works.

It’s not for critically thinking and informed. It’s not for those already convinced by evidence and reason.

It’s to get reactionary types fired up enough to do something, like vote. The difference is, this sort of thing only seems to turn off the “enlightened centrist” who doesn’t understand the need to… Win.

In this bizarre reality where stories like this fall flat, I guess you can just run the story again right before an election to motivate a few voters.
