they are probably voting for him again right now

He’s not up for re-election and not on the ballot. Only a subset of Congress is. A Democratic majority in Congress would not mean we get a new president, nor does it make it possible to impeach and remove the current one. Also, neither snap elections nor no-confidence votes are a thing here.

It seems a lot of non-US people watching from a distance have higher hopes than they should about the significance of this midterm election, due to not really understanding how the US system works and/or thinking it’s a parlimentary system like a normal modern democracy.

Which is why the European / Canadian “OMG dO sOmEtHiNg you pussies!!! No…? Guess you’re all fine with fascism then…!” commenters are especially irritating because there’s really only one way he doesn’t stay in office until Jan 2029, and that’s already been tried unsuccessfully, and just gets you president Vance anyway. Or president Johnson, if you managed a two-for one. A different president before 2029 is not a possible outcome of protesting- any amount of protesting. Those “No Kings” events are just cargo-cult civil disobedience for liberal boomers to virtue signal at. They have no demands to make, no credible threat of escalation if the demands are ignored, and no reason for the regime to take them seriously.

Never leave a child alone with a conservative. Never.

It is not possible for a conservative to see a child as human. Conservatives see children only as property. This is why child sex abuse suspects are typically conservatives.

Conservatives are biologically unable to experience empathy for others. This is why their relationships are so shallow and why they cannot view their family as anything more than property. Without empathy, it’s impossible to develop a deep emotional connection with another human they way a normal person can. A conservative loves their child the way a teenager loves a sportscar. The emotions of ownership can be strong, but they are not deep.

“The Defendant, Donald J. Trump, was clearly heard referring to Defendant, Jeffrey E. Epstein, as a ‘Jew B----rd’ as he yelled at Defendant Epstein, that clearly, he, Defendant Trump, should be the lucky one to ‘pop the cherry’ of Plaintiff Johnson.”

That’s the headline. I mean, that’s what it should be.

Exactly. The report says they both did. See page 24:

In April 2016, a woman identified by the pseudonym “Katie Johnson” filed a lawsuit accusing Donald Trump of raping and sexually abusing her on multiple occasions in 1994, when she was 13, at a Jeffrey Epstein party in New York. … She also reported that Epstein and Trump argued over who would take her virginity, and Epstein became angry and violently raped her when he learned that Donald Trump had done so.

It shows how important christianity is to 2/3 of America— as in not at all. It’s why I can never take christian values seriously again because it’s obviously just another club with personal benefits for the people who join. Living the teachings of Christ is completely voluntary.

The problem is there are no meaningful citizen’s militias that aren’t themselves Nazis.

The left allowed itself to be disarmed for the purpose of purity signaling and the result is a gross lack of tribal knowledge with regards to engaging in protracted violence.

Half of voters are not fine with this.

Most think the same as you. Trump’s campaign promises were no war and releasing the Epstein files after Biden did absolutely nothing and sat on them for four years.

We’ve been betrayed by bOtH pArTiEs over the last eight years (and before that, for that matter)… because they’re BoTh all over the Epstein files.

We don’t have a “No Epstein” party in the USA, that is not allowed. We just have two corrupt shit parties.

(I’m not making random claims, either. We do have some information, like flight logs. Democrats and Republicans found common ground somehow and fucking loved that plane and the young girls on it).

Exactly this. It’s amazing how we start seeing the “both parties” rhetoric right around election seasons. But then they vanish afterwards, when they help get the vile fucks elected. It’s honestly astounding how people see clear evidence of the orange slimeball hurting children, and go “oh but the other side is just better at hiding it, so I might as well keep voting for the orange slimeball instead.” It’s the most asinine, cretinous, sophomoric line of reasoning imaginable.

Honestly, probably a non zero amount, but I can assure you that the dem voters would actually care if it came out.

The Weiner scandal was actually a scandal and he served time. I’m not willing to go to bat for dem politicians (though I’d pick a random D over a random R politician any day), but I’ll definitely back dem voters on the whole for actually having some degree of standards or morals, which does generally lead to accountability.

I think that’s the main difference, because even if Rs and I disagreed, if they actually had morals we would not have found ourselves here. A bunch of Rs referred to Trump as a Hitler-like fascist and then bent the knee because the R voters didn’t care. It’s not that our politicians are somehow morally superior, though on the whole they definitely are, it’s that the actual base cares about the things they say they care about.

I think it should be a steady drip-drip-drip of some story about Epstein and donnie. About one high-profile one per day should be headline news.

Even if they are recycled stories. I don’t care. This has not gotten nearly enough traction.

So far, besides Epstein, the only person that went to prison for this is Maxwell.

For one the Democrats are supporting it, whereas before they were content to let “Justice” shoulder the questions and so on. So thats different.

Some may remember “Katie Johnson” brought these up prior to the 2016 election but was threatened with all manner of reprisals including rape and murder, of herself and family, likely by Michael Cohen and Roger Stone amongst a sea of Pepe incels. And so she ghosted her lawyer’s press conference and “disappeared”.

It’s notable these are DoJ interviews, not random tweets or something. Official people officially noted these allegations from a real person multiple times.

I was using the word “story” to mean the concept of recounting an event that happened, not as in “news story” or a specific publication. I meant that the “howling in envy” thing has been circulating online for years. I’m glad they’re publicizing it this close to the election, but it’s not at all new information.

But the incident mentioned in the title happened years ago - they were on trial together for it back in 2007 (where Epstein negotiated a non-prosecution agreement for himself and all co-conspirators on the basis that he was a secret service asset). I first read about this during the first Trump presidency, just after Epstein got arrested for the last time.
